Since our very first season, one of our greatest joys has been sharing our honey with this incredible community. The support we have received over the years has been overwhelming and deeply appreciated. However, as we look to the future of our farm and the pressing challenges facing our local ecosystems, we are thrilled to announce a significant shift in our mission.
A Pivot Toward Purpose
Moving forward, we are officially pivoting our primary focus away from retail honey sales. Don’t worry, we still love sharing our harvest with you! Honey simply will no longer be the central goal of our day-to-day operations. Instead, we are dedicating our time, energy, and resources to what we believe matters most right now: true education and conservation.
Why the Change?
The health of local pollinators is more critical than ever. While managing our own hives does a lot of good, we realized that we could multiply our impact by teaching others. By stepping back from the demands of retail sales, we can fully commit to creating a much larger, sustainable impact on local pollinator health. We want to build a community of informed, passionate advocates for the bees.
Empowering You Through Hands-On Learning
To achieve this, we are launching an expanded series of educational initiatives, starting with our hands-on beginner and intermadiate beekeeping classes. These sessions are designed to take you out of the classroom and straight into the apiary. You will learn the fundamentals of hive management, bee biology, and sustainable practices directly from our experienced team.
We believe that by getting your hands a little sticky and observing the bees up close, we can empower you to become a confident beekeeper and a true champion for environmental conservation.
